The MRCOOL VersaPro® / Hyper Heat® 2nd Gen Electric Heat Kits are designed to provide reliable auxiliary and emergency backup heat for MRCOOL central ducted heat pump systems. Installed directly into compatible air handlers, these heat kits automatically activate when outdoor temperatures drop too low for the heat pump to operate efficiently, during defrost cycles, or when additional heating demand is required. The result is consistent, uninterrupted indoor comfort—even in extreme cold conditions.
