Powerful whole-room comfort without hiring an HVAC contractor. The MRCOOL® DIY® Easy Pro® 18,000 BTU mini-split heat pump is designed for larger spaces up to 800 sq. ft., including open living areas, primary bedrooms, finished basements, workshops, and spacious home offices.

The included 11.5 ft. pre-charged Quick Connect® line set comes factory-sealed with R-454B refrigerant, removing the need for vacuum pumps, manifold gauges, or refrigerant charging. With up to 20.0 SEER2 efficiency, built-in Wi-Fi, and dependable performance in extreme temperatures, this system delivers professional-level comfort with the convenience and savings of DIY® installation.

True DIY Installation: Includes an 11.5 ft. factory-sealed, pre-charged Quick Connect® line set with R-454B refrigerant. No HVAC license, vacuum pump, manifold gauges, specialized equipment rental, or contractor scheduling is required.
Energy Savings: DC inverter compressor technology continuously adjusts output to match the space’s actual heating or cooling demand, reducing the inefficient on-and-off cycling of traditional systems. The 18K Easy Pro® delivers up to 20.0 SEER2 cooling efficiency and 8.5 HSPF2-4 heating efficiency.
Smart Comfort Control: Built-in Wi-Fi connects with the MRCOOL® Smart HVAC Controller®, allowing you to manage temperature, modes, and schedules from your smartphone. The system also works with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant for convenient voice control.
Comfort in Any Climate: Engineered to operate in outdoor temperatures ranging from -13°F to 122°F, providing reliable heating during freezing winter conditions and consistent cooling through extreme summer heat.
Whisper-Quiet Operation: Five fan-speed settings include a Sleep mode that operates as low as 18.5 dB(A), making the system suitable for bedrooms and other noise-sensitive areas. Even at maximum output, indoor sound levels remain at approximately 46.5 dB(A).

Directions

Fairly easy to install some directions said to use 3 1/2” hole but on template it was 2 1/2” which is what I used. Some of the other directions not to clear, still not sure where the little black filter goes?
