The MRCOOL® DIY Select 24,000 BTU Single-Zone Mini-Split Heat Pump delivers dependable year-round comfort for open-concept living areas, large primary suites, finished basements, converted garages, and other spaces up to 1,050 sq. ft.

With inverter-driven performance, quiet operation, smart controls, and an included pre-charged Quick Connect® line set, this system is designed for straightforward homeowner installation. Mount the units, connect the line set, provide power, and enjoy convenient app-controlled comfort without vacuum pumps, refrigerant gauges, or hiring an HVAC contractor.

System Capacity: Delivers 23,000 BTU of heating and cooling for spaces up to 1,050 sq. ft. Efficiency ratings of 16.5 SEER2 and 8.3 HSPF2-4 provide reliable year-round performance while helping keep energy use under control.
DIY Quick Connect® Line Set (11.5 ft.): Includes an 11.5 ft. factory pre-charged line set with R-454B refrigerant and sealed Quick Connect® fittings. No vacuum pump, manifold gauges, or refrigerant handling is required. Optional 16 ft., 25 ft., 35 ft., and 50 ft. line-set lengths are available separately.
Inverter Technology: The variable-speed compressor continuously adjusts output based on the space’s actual heating or cooling demand, helping reduce energy consumption and maintain more consistent temperatures without frequent on-and-off cycling.
Ultra-Quiet Performance: Indoor sound levels reach as low as 21.5 dB(A) in Sleep mode, providing quiet operation for bedrooms, offices, living areas, and other spaces where noise levels matter.
Smart Control via MRCOOL® Comfort App: Adjust the temperature, switch operating modes, create schedules, and manage the system remotely through the MRCOOL® Comfort App. Voice control is also supported through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.

Directions

Fairly easy to install some directions said to use 3 1/2” hole but on template it was 2 1/2” which is what I used. Some of the other directions not to clear, still not sure where the little black filter goes?
